These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of petrovit.net ("the Site"), operated by Petrov IT Solutions ("Petrov IT," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
These Terms govern use of the Site only. They do not govern the services we provide to clients — those are covered by a separate written service agreement with each client.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal or business purposes consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, or republish content from the Site without our written permission, except for normal personal, internal-business reference, or quoted use with attribution
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or data from the Site
- Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to access the Site beyond what a normal search engine would do
- Interfere with the Site's operation, security, or availability
- Use the Site to transmit viruses, malware, or unlawful content
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
- Use the Site for any purpose that violates applicable law

The Site and all of its content — text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design — is owned by Petrov IT or its licensors and is protected by U.S. copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The "Petrov IT Solutions" name and logo are trademarks of Petrov IT. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
3. Third-Party Content and Links
The Site may include links to third-party websites or services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. Following a link is at your own risk.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Content on the site is for general information and does not constitute professional IT, security, or legal advice. Rely on it at your own risk.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petrov IT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of or related to your use of the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Petrov IT, its owners, employees, and contractors harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
You agree that any claim must be filed within one (1) year after the cause of action arose; after that, the claim is permanently barred.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version always lives at petrovit.net/terms with the effective date at the top. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
